Our Journey

The Kashmiri Guys began in 2022, from a family kitchen in Nottingham, with a clear vision—to bring truly authentic, homemade Asian cuisine to a wider audience. What started as a humble idea quickly evolved into a passionate pursuit of quality, tradition, and flavour.

From the very beginning, the focus has been on crafting traditional favourites such as samosas, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes, kebabs, pakoras, and a range of rich, aromatic curries. Every dish is prepared fresh by hand, using time-honoured recipes passed down through generations, ensuring an experience that is both authentic and deeply rooted in heritage.

Early trading at local Nottingham markets allowed the brand to quietly build a loyal following. Customers were drawn not only to the quality of the food, but to its consistency, depth of flavour, and attention to detail. Signature items such as the Onion Bhajis and Pakoras quickly became customer favourites, often selling out well before the close of trading.

As the reputation of The Kashmiri Guys grew, so did its reach. A noticeable demand began to emerge from Manchester and surrounding areas—an audience with a strong appreciation for high-quality street food and authentic cuisine. Recognising this, the business naturally expanded into Manchester, embracing the city’s vibrant and discerning food scene.

Today, The Kashmiri Guys has evolved into a dedicated and growing team, proudly serving across Manchester and nearby regions, with continued plans for expansion. Despite this growth, the ethos remains unchanged: to deliver exceptional, freshly prepared Asian food that reflects the warmth and richness of home cooking.
