Our Journey

The Kashmiri Guys began back in 2022, right from our family kitchen in Nottingham. Founded by Shehrose Khan, what started as a simple idea—to bring proper, homemade Asian food to the public—soon turned into a full-time passion.

In the early days, we focused on traditional favourites like samosas, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes, kebabs, pakoras, curries and more. Everything was made fresh by hand, using classic recipes passed down through generations. We began trading at local markets around Nottingham, gradually building a loyal customer base who appreciated the authentic taste and quality of our food.

Each week involved long hours—prepping and cooking late into the night, travelling early in the mornings, and setting up stalls across the North West. But the hard work paid off. The feedback was brilliant, with many of our dishes quickly becoming crowd favourites. People especially loved our Onion Bhajis and Pakoras, which often sold out before the day was done.

As word spread and demand grew, we started noticing more and more of our regular customers were coming from Manchester. The city’s vibrant market scene and strong appreciation for good food made it the perfect next step. So, we made the move—and we’ve never looked back.

Since then, we’ve continued to grow, always keeping true to our roots: high-quality, freshly made Asian food that tastes like home. Whether it’s at markets, private events or through our chilled ready-to-eat meals, our goal remains the same—to bring people together through great food, cooked with care.

This is just the beginning, and we’re excited for what’s to come.
